A proposta do UX Design para a plataforma digital do programa foi criar uma experiência intuitiva, acessível e envolvente para diferentes perfis de usuários, incluindo estudantes, professores e organizadores.
O foco principal é facilitar a inscrição e acompanhamento dos projetos, promover o engajamento da comunidade escolar e garantir que informações importantes, como resultados e mentorias, sejam facilmente acessíveis. A abordagem de design prioriza clareza, navegabilidade e interatividade, usando elementos visuais consistentes, fluxos bem estruturados e funcionalidades que apoiem todo o ciclo do programa, desde a inscrição até a divulgação dos resultados.
Em resumo, o objetivo é transformar a plataforma em um hub digital eficiente, que centralize informações, apoie a gestão de projetos e proporcione uma experiência agradável e intuitiva para todos os usuários. O público-alvo inclui estudantes, professores e escolas de ensino fundamental e médio na América Latina.

To develop an inclusive, accessible, and highly engaging digital platform to support teachers and students across Latin America in the design, planning, and implementation of STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics) projects. The platform will aim to stimulate creativity, critical thinking, and collaboration by offering pedagogical resources, interactive tools, and content adapted to different regional realities. Through the Design Thinking methodology, users will be encouraged to identify real problems in their communities, propose innovative solutions, and validate prototypes, promoting practical learning, the development of socio-emotional skills, and the formation of a new generation of problem-solvers prepared for the challenges of the 21st century.

Nessa etapa, identificamos que o problema central era a falta de um hub centralizado que integrasse teoria e prática para apoiar projetos STEM. Professores e alunos enfrentavam dificuldades em acessar informações confiáveis, exemplos aplicáveis e orientações claras, o que tornava desafiador desenvolver projetos de forma organizada e eficaz. O objetivo do site passou a ser oferecer uma plataforma que combinasse conteúdos educativos, inspiração prática e recursos estruturados, permitindo que os usuários desenvolvessem seus projetos de forma intuitiva, engajadora e com impacto real no aprendizado, considerando a diversidade e as necessidades do público.
A definição clara do problema e do objetivo da plataforma foi crucial para orientar as decisões de design e priorizar funcionalidades que realmente atendessem às necessidades dos usuários, estabelecendo as bases para soluções que fossem úteis, inspiradoras e efetivamente transformadoras no contexto educacional.

Style Guide and Components
Another important aspect of the project was design componentization, which involved creating reusable elements to ensure consistency and scalability across the platform. Buttons, project cards, menus, banners, and content sections were developed as modular components, allowing them to be applied uniformly across different pages and contexts. This approach facilitated site maintenance and updates, ensuring that new content or features could be integrated without compromising the visual identity or user experience. Furthermore, componentization contributed to the development team's efficiency, reducing rework and accelerating the prototyping and implementation process, while also reinforcing visual cohesion and clarity of navigation for all users.

Solution
The Solution phase involved creating features that met the identified needs. Among the proposed solutions, highlights included a project gallery showcasing real-life success stories, a project trail guiding users step-by-step through the development of their ideas, an interactive glossary to clarify STEM concepts, an educational blog with articles and practical tips, and an events calendar to keep users informed about deadlines and opportunities. The design was designed to be modern, vibrant, and easy to read, while maintaining the clarity necessary for all users to feel comfortable navigating the platform.


Results
The results demonstrated that the platform achieved its objectives, with increased engagement, longer site stays, and a high user return rate. Reports from teachers and students indicated that the platform contributed significantly to the practical application of STEM concepts, reinforcing educational innovation, and strengthening the learning community.
Learnings
The project's learnings highlighted the importance of keeping the platform accessible, interactive, and up-to-date, while emphasizing youthful language and inclusive design. It was noted that clear information and step-by-step guidance are essential for users of all experience levels to take advantage of all the features offered. The experience reinforced the importance of a user-centered design that combines aesthetics, functionality, and educational purpose.
